First day of classes.

Welcome Students
Fall Semester classes began Monday, August 23, 2010. Students were welcomed by the Faculty and Staff as the College kicked off the 2010-2011 academic year. Unofficial enrollment for the fall semester is 223 students. Nursing is the largest program on campus with 130 students. The radiology program has an enrollment of 26 students. The respiratory care program has an enrollment of 24 students. The surgical technology program has an enrollment of 8 students and emergency medical services, basic and paramedic, has a combined total of 35 students.

Respiratory Care Program Receives Accreditation
The Respiratory Care Program received full accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). The initial accreditation period is for five years.

Health Occupations Academy
The Health Occupations Academy is a health career outreach program for area high school students. Participating high schools are Bettendorf, North Scott, Pleasant Valley and United Township with a combined total of 32 students enrolled. Achieve Quad Cities has awarded a grant to the academy to purchase a VitalSim Kid that will be used for hands-on experiences.

Notification of Accreditation Review
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences will be reviewed by the National League of Nursing (NLN) for continuing accreditation of its Associate of Science in Nursing program on October 5 - 7, 2010. NLN invites written and signed comments from communities of interest that are affected by the College's ASN program. Those communities include current students, alumni, potential employers of graduates, members of the college community, local and state nursing professional organizations, and practicing nurses who work with students and graduates. Comments will be shared with the members of the evaluation team, who take them into account in their review of the program; however, at no time during the review process will the comments be shared with the College.
