CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Robert Young Center (RYC), an affiliate of Trinity Regional Health System, is a Comprehensive Community Mental Health Center. We offer a full continuum of behavioral health services including outpatient therapies, inpatient psychiatric services, partial hospitalization, continuing care, chemical dependency treatment services and online resources.
For those individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.), RYC offers an alternative to hospitalization and hope for recovery through the Community Support Program (CSP). CSP also offers District 22, which serves as a gathering point for these individuals to learn life skills and prevocational training while offering the opportunity for socialization.
Outpatient Mental Health Services are just a phone call away. Most people who call are experiencing problems from common life stresses, such as marital discord, grief from the death of a loved one, issues associated with divorce, or other family conflicts. The Robert Young Center's multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clincial social workers and registered nurses.
The Robert Young Center has a staff of full-time psychiatrists and advanced nurse practitioners who conduct evaluations and provide medication management.
The Robert Young Inpatient Psychiatric units offer compassionate and competent care to adults and adolescents who are in need of acute short term hospitalization for crisis intervention, assessment and symptom stabilization.
From the time of back wards in mental institutions to the development of the community mental health movement of forty years ago, services for persons with psychiatric disabilities have taken a quantum leap into this age of recovery and consumer-driven approaches.

Recovery from addiction begins with abstinence from chemicals, but it doesn't stop there. Recovery includes learning new life skills, and new ways to deal with emotions. The involvement of families and loved ones is an important aspect of recovery.
