Trinity has been offering comprehensive cancer treatment to residents of the greater Quad-City and surrounding area since 1964 when megavoltage radiation therapy was first introduced to the region.
In 1979, Trinity was the first area center to receive accreditation for its cancer program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Trinity Cancer Center has consistently renewed this accreditation since then, a reflection of the high quality of care in all aspects of its program.
Trinity offers patients an integrated approach to cancer treatment under the care of highly trained professionals through diagnostics, surgery and radiation. Trinity's Cancer Center is designed to accommodate up to 100 patients per day, and provide that service in the most patient-friendly and caring environment as well. In addition to the warm décor in the waiting areas and the rooms, patients who undergo radiation therapy can even view beautiful photo panels of woodlands, flower gardens and other natural wonders.
