Its goal is to provide new patient assessments that are timely and convenient as well as to provide crisis assessments. The Access Center staff are trained to direct patients to the most appropriate level of care, balancing safety and the desire to cause the least restriction to the client's lifestyle. Access Center staff will also coordinate with community referral sources such as Employee Assistant Program's (EAP's), primary care physicians, and local law enforcement agencies, when appropriate.
The Access Center is currently available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Crisis assessments are available through the Trinity Medical Center West Campus Emergency Room after these hours.
