Trinity is now UnityPoint Health | Trinity.  A new name.  A new day in health care.

Volunteers

Health care volunteers have been a community tradition as long as there have been hospitals in the Quad-Cities. Many of our current volunteers began their service with us even before we became Trinity. You can join thousands of other volunteers who have contributed significantly to Trinity’s rich heritage, spanning many decades.

Our 350+ Trinity volunteers serve as the backbone to our organization – people we have grown to value and depend on. This group is actively involved in supplementing several hospital services provided to patients and community members as well as assisting in the important work of the Trinity Medical Center staff in providing exceptional health care to our community.

Trinity’s Volunteer Services staff works to ensure your time as a volunteer is fulfilling and rewarding by creating a positive work environment along with meaningful assignments, while keeping your busy schedule in mind.

In addition to becoming a volunteer, we encourage you to become a Friend of Trinity Medical Center, a more structured organization that sponsors the hospital gift shops and additional fundraisers to provide financial support for a variety of projects at Trinity and throughout the community.

Who Volunteers?

Trinity Medical Center volunteers are individuals who desire to help others through their gifts of time and talent.

Our volunteers range from college and high school students to adults of all ages. While some of our volunteers are interested in pursuing a career in the health care field, but most of our volunteers are people who just want to make a difference. We even provide the chance for families to volunteer together.

Volunteer Openings

Volunteer openings are determined by the requests of hospital department managers and by the availability of our existing volunteers. Opportunities exist at all of our locations, and most positions occur during the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. A few early-evening and weekend positions are occasionally available, especially in our Gift Shops or special assigned areas.
