Jason's Box
Jason's Box is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of our military men and women. Jason's Box was founded in honor of Cpl. Jason G. Pautsch, KIA April 10, 2009, in Mosul, Iraq. It began by sending custom care packages to deployed troops as a way of thanking them for their service. Jason's Box is expanding its reach by helping to develop support services to assist troops with their transition from military to civilian life and to assist them in locating community services to treat post-traumatic stress disorder and other emotional/behavioral health issues. Stylin’ Against Breast Cancer
The sixth annual Stylin’ Against Breast Cancer event was held on April 21, 2011. This popular luncheon features local breast cancer survivors modeling clothing from area stores. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this charitable fundraiser benefit local breast cancer survivors and promote education about breast cancer and breast health. View photos from past style shows. We also encourage you to learn more about Trinity’s Kramer Society.
Studies have shown that regular exercise can help one resist the temptation of substance abuse because it boosts confidence while also relieving stress and depression so this year, funds raised from the 2011 Trinity Golf Classic will provide exercise equipment for a wellness center on the inpatient unit at Riverside, the Robert Young Center's substance abuse treatment division. This year's event was a big success, and we look forward to seeing you all again in September 2012! For a list of this year's tournament winners, please click here.
