Interventional nephrology provides state-of-the-art dialysis access support for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients. This is especially important for dialysis dependent end-stage renal disease patients. With increasing number of people on dialysis as well as patients who present with significant vascular disease, vascular access problems have become extremely common. Vascular access is the lifeline of dialysis patients, therefore, it is extremely important to maintain functional vascular access.
