At Trinity, we carefully select all of our physicians and staff members to provide quality patient-focused care. When you come to Trinity, you will work with a team of health care professionals and support staff, that may include some of the following individuals:

The physician who admits you is responsible for directing your care while you are in the hospital. As the coordinator for your treatment program, the physician or surgeon should be consulted if you have questions about your illness or condition.

Continuous hour nursing care is provided by our team of highly skilled professionals, who regularly communicate with one another in regards to your care. A nurse manager is responsible for directing and coordinating each unit, and any member of the staff can be a good resource if you have questions.

Upon admission to the hospital, each patient is asked to provide specific information about their personal history to assist in completing your file and providing financial arrangements. During your stay at Trinity a Financial Advocate is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays to assist with the logistics regarding your care.

Trinity is dedicated to care of the whole person. We believe the spiritual dimensions of patient care are significant to the patient's well-being. For this purpose, chaplains from the Pastoral Care Department are available to console, administer sacraments, lead support groups, share Scripture and pray with patients and their loved ones. Several of our campuses also offer mediation and reflecting areas. All clergy are welcome to visit patients. Our Case Management staff are trained to help patients and family members deal with financial, social and emotional problems that relate to illness or hospitalization, whether care is continued at home or at another facility. They will explain the options available and make contact with other community resources. Your nurse can help facilitate this relationship or you can call directly at (536) 779-2687.

Your room is cleaned regularly by a member of the patient-care team. If there is a housekeeping problem in your room, tell your nurse, and it will be taken care of as soon as possible.

Volunteers contribute many hours of service and financial assistance to the hospital. They supplement the services of the hospital staff in many ways and can be identified by their name tags.

The hospital maintains a staff of full-time registered dietitians to meet your dietary needs during your stay. You may also interact with many other health care professionals, including personnel from the laboratory and radiology departments and physical, occupational and respiratory therapists. In addition, the Trinity family includes many behind-the-scenes workers, such as accountants, engineers, secretaries, nutrition services workers and others who contribute greatly toward your well being while you are under our care.
