Trinity accepting breast cancer grant applications
October 16, 2012
The Trinity Health Foundation is now accepting applications for projects to be funded by proceeds raised through this year’s Stylin’ Against Breast Cancer events. Submissions are being accepted from now until Oct. 30. Organizations within a 30-mile radius of the Quad-Cities are eligible to apply.
Stylin’ Against Breast Cancer is the Trinity Health Foundation’s annual fundraiser that includes a wine and cheese party as well as luncheon and fashion show each spring. All models at the fashion show are breast cancer survivors or patients undergoing active treatment for breast cancer. Servers at the wine and cheese party are men who have a friend or family member impacted by the disease. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised benefit local breast cancer survivors and promote education about breast cancer and breast health.
