Infusion Center
Although infusion is typically associated with chemotherapy, Trinity’s Infusion Center can provide assistance with the distribution of other treatments and medications associated with patient well being and health care. Referrals to the Infusion Center are made directly by members of the Trinity medical staff.
The Infusion Center at Trinity is located on the third floor of Trinity Moline, and provides patients with a relaxing and calming environment throughout their treatment program. Currently, you can receive infusion services for
the following:
- Chemotherapy
- Antibiotics
- Blood Products
- Vaccines
- Other Fluids
Each month, over 600 patients visit our Infusion Center to receive treatment at one of our 16 infusion stations. All of our patients are free to enjoy private rooms to encourage rest and relaxation, which complements the recovery process. In addition to these private treatment options, we provide our patients with the following amenities during treatment:
- Comfort items
- Diversion activities
- Food and drink station
- Education center
- Genetic Counseling Program Center referrals
The Infusion Center is overseen by a medical oncologist and staffed by oncology certified nurses and a clinical oncology pharmacist.
