2010 Sponsorship
Trinity gives back to the community in many ways, including sponsoring worthy organizations, programs and events. In 2010, Trinity provided financial and/or medical support to the following organizations:
American Cancer Society – Our partnership with ACS includes Relay for Life, a Survivor Celebration and Daffodil Days. In 2010, Relay for Life, Rock Island County was awarded the American Cancer Society's prestigious Relay All-Star Award, which honors Relay events that achieve significant fundraising & participant growth. More than $91,700 was raised and nearly 450 participated.
American Heart Association – Our commitment to heart health begins with university-level care right here in the Quad Cities but extends to education, raising awareness in the community and supporting organizations that contribute to heart research. Together with the AHA and its partners,

helped raise $12,500 during the Heart Walk and $90,000 during the Go Red for Women campaign.

Gilda’s Club – Our goal in supporting Gilda’s Run, Girls Night Out and Diamonds & Diva’s, is to assist Gilda’s Club Quad Cities with their mission to provide free emotional and social support to those living with a cancer diagnosis. Their programs complement the medical care provided to people who are living with cancer.

John Deere Classic – Our more than 20-year partnership with the JDC is a testament to what community partners can do when they work together on an event that continues to provide over $4 million annually to local charities. Trinity Medical Center lends its resources to the tournament so it can provide advanced medical life support care on-site throughout the week.
Junior Achievement – For the past 11 years, Trinity has been the Title Sponsor of the Trinity/JA Bowl-A-Thon but our employees have been bowling in and supporting the bowl-a-thon since 1999. This long-term partnership has helped fund JA’s financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs so that our youth can learn money management skills, develop a work ethic and achieve the entrepreneurial spirit needed to refuel our economy.

Putnam Museum & IMAX Theater -The Quad Cities area is a great place to live and visit due, in part, to our award-winning museums and cultural centers. When we can, it is important to support these local treasures that play such a large role in the life of our community. That is why Trinity has provided support to the Putnam by sponsoring exhibits and films and participating in events and educational activities. Trinity sponsored the exhibit Microbes: Invisible Invaders, Amazing Allies because it can help us understand the amazing and complex world of microorganisms and the role they play in the delicate ecosystem of our body and environment.
Quad Cities Chamber – During 2010, the Bettendorf Chamber merged with the Iowa Quad Cities Chamber, which ultimately merged with the Illinois Quad Cities Chamber to become the Quad Cities Chamber. Trinity was privileged to support all four of these chamber entities throughout the year. Our support of this valuable business organization helps them grow a vibrant and sustainable economy for four counties in Illinois and Iowa.
Quad Cities Marathon – Our financial contribution and medical support of this two-state, four-city race contributes to prostate cancer research and projects. Our fifty plus medical volunteers provide necessary advanced medical care to the runners.
