Just Drive!

We’re all aware of the dangers of cell phone use while being behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, and Trinity has taken that awareness a step further by developing a community health initiative plan to help reduce the number of accidents and fatalities associated with distracted driving.
What does it mean to Just Drive?
- You focus on driving.
- You do not text while driving.
- You do not e-mail while driving.
- You do not allow distractions to affect your driving.
- You use a hands-free device when talking on the phone in your car.
Why is the Just Drive! Pledge so important?

We have all seen the impact distracted driving can have on loved ones. Often, the end result of distracted driving is serious injury and death. By just driving, you are keeping yourself, and others on the road, at a lower risk for crashes.
Distracted Driving is a national epidemic. Driving while texting was the cause of more than 200,000 motor vehicle crashes and 6,000 deaths in the U.S. in 2008.
