Trinity Regional Health System began diabetes education more than 20 years ago with a commitment to educate our diabetes patients. Our staff believed then and believes today that a person with diabetes should fully understand the disease and how it impacts their health.

The Trinity Diabetes Education Center uses a team-based approach to diabetes self-management. Our staff includes nurses, dietitians and other health care specialists working with each individual and their physician to facilitate the common goal of successful diabetes management. Data collected in our Diabetes Center shows those enrolled in our various programs can lower their sugar significantly. This decrease can prevent, delay or lessen the severity of long-term complications due to the disease.
Located at Trinity Moline, the Diabetes Education Center provides services Monday through Friday and has received national recognition by the American Diabetes Association.
