TrueBeam was designed with patient comfort in mind. Most treatments can be completed in a few minutes instead of half-an-hour for traditional methods. The patient is in constant communication with the therapist operating the equipment. TrueBeam is quieter than traditional treatments and music can be played to increase patient comfort in a warm, healing environment.
 

The advanced technology can treat cancers anywhere in the body where a radiation treatment is recommended. TrueBeam also increases the treatment options for difficult cases such as cancers in the lung, breast, prostate, abdomen, head and neck.
 

TrueBeam radiation treatment is not appropriate for all cancers. Check with your doctor to see if TrueBeam is right for you. Treatment times may vary. Sides effects vary based on individual treatment, but typical side effects include, but are not limited to, skin changes, fatigue, diarrhea, hair loss, nausea and vomiting, urinary and bladder changes or trouble swallowing.
