Joint Commission

The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit, national body that oversees the safety and quality of health care and other services provided in certified organizations. They evaluate nearly 15,000 health care programs in the United States and have maintained their state-of-the-art standards since 1951. To earn and maintain The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years. Trinity holds the following honors from The Joint Commission:

  • Trinity Muscatine accreditation
